Progress report on the TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Kickstarter.
There is a bit of news, in fact.
- First off, there is going to be a Kickstarter: today I started putting together what I’ll need to set one up. I expect that the start date will be November 1, 2020, with a February 2021 fulfillment date.
- The working title will be TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION, VOLUME I: SHADOW OF THE TOWER. 10 stories, including an excerpt from the upcoming MORGAN BAROD novel and a Tom Vargas novelette!
- I don’t know if this one is going to have an audiobook. Audible has been moderately incompetent about approving a commercial version; it’s possibly not fair to put my producer through all those hoops over this again. Or at least so soon.
- But! We have an editor for the short story collection, and I’ve almost formalized getting an artist for the cover.
So things are moving along.

Yeah, I was going to take it easy, but this post inspired me. In that font, ‘Miskatonic’ looks a lot like ‘Whiskey Tonic.’ …And, well, it’s just so obvious from there on out.
Book of the Week: Going Ballistic.
Dagnabbit, I knew I forgot something last night. Anyway, I have literally just picked up Dorothy Grant’s Going Ballistic on a whim, based on the cover, bio, and the reviews. I mention this merely to drive home the observation that covers, bios and particularly reviews have an impact on sales.

Still trying to find an artist for the short story book cover.
It’s proving oddly difficult to find one. Suggestions welcome; I was thinking of a webcomic artist, but I’ll consider other sorts if I like their artistic style. And can afford it, for that matter. I’m offering a decent rate for it but not rock-star prices.
Still could use a beta reader for the short story collection.
If you’re interested, let me know in comments (or email me if you have it). It’s gotta be done by the end of September, though. I want to make sure there’s plenty of lead time for the editor.
Print edition of ANAGNORISIS now available.
It got pointed out to me that my extended family might want copies, at least. Seeing as how my mom did the pictures. So here you go!
The prints may end up being a stretch goal in the next Kickstarter, too. Or, heck, a copy of ANAGNORISIS itself. Or… no, wait, let me see if this one sells first.
