And this isn’t even the big reveal here. Also: this is a more ambitious project than I first considered. I am going to get so many people complaining that I got the details of London wrong: guess I’m just going to have to burn down the entire city in the backstory and redraw the map…

I may need to add scenes before this one.
Call for Beta Readers (Short Story Sampler)
I got six short stories that need to be read and critiqued. Well, actually I have quite a few more, but these are the ones that are going to be part of the Kickstarter short story sampler, so they’re higher priority. For each of them I need an idea of what worked, what didn’t, and what needs fixing; and I need them gone over in the next three to four weeks. If this sounds interesting, let me know and I’ll send ’em on over.
Thanks in advance and don’t worry if this isn’t your sort of thing.

Too long for a snippet, but there was no good place to cut. In my opinion, at least.
Book of the Week: Superego: Fathom.
Superego: Fathom is Frank J. Fleming’s second book in his Superego SF hitman series; I finally got around to starting it this afternoon. It’s good: Frank’s main character has a highly entertaining mindset, as long as it’s not aimed at you. Well worth picking up for the Kindle.

I actually raced through the rest of this first part, comparatively speaking: I want to get to the next part. The all-new part, that is.
05/22/2020 Book Report, FROZEN DREAMS.
Did a second revision pass-through of the entire book, mostly. That mostly involved formatting stuff, but there was a plot hole or two that needed to be rectified. And, yes, that ate the entire day.
In other news: we have a cartographer for the RPG worldbook! I went with Robert Altbauer of Fantasy Map again: he did the Cin City map in plenty of time and with no fuss, and it’s been popular with my Kickstarter backers. So having him do this one, too sounded sensible.
Long day. More productive than I was giving it credit for, but still very much a long day.

Fermi Resolution RPG will have @bfleuter for artwork.
I’ve announced this before, but it’s locked down now: the Fermi Resolution TT RPG worldbook (Powered by GUMSHOE) will have original artwork by Ben Fleuter. Ben, for those of you who do not already read Sword Interval – and if you do not, then please start reading Sword Interval – is a first-rate cartoonist who I’ve wanted an excuse to throw money at for some time now. I think that his aesthetic will work very, very well with this project.
You can get in on this worldbook, and a bunch of other stuff, at the Backerkit FROZEN DREAMS store here. Get it now, because the deals won’t last long!
SUPEREGO: FATHOM is out!
Superego: Fathom is Frank J. Fleming’s sequel to Superego, which is one of the more entertaining stories of a heroic psychopathic galactic assassin that you’ll ever read. And it’s finally arrived! I look forward to reading it.
So, check it out.
