In the mail: my Illuminati Secret World Legends pin!

This is probably not an official Secret World Legends pin from Origami Soldier, but since I saw this on a devstream with the developers going ZOMG this is so cool get ’em before they’re gone I figure that it was OK. Or it was the Twitter account. Anyway,  it’s a really pretty Lumie pin. I just need to figure out what I’m going to wear it on.

The Cuphead Honest Game Trailer.

I dunno whether Screen Junkies itself is going to survive creator Andy Signore’s firing for alleged sexual harassment and assault, but Cuphead got an Honest Game Trailer from Smosh Games.  The use of a different voice-over person in that one was apparently just a temporary aesthetic choice, at least according to EpicVoiceGuy himself. So there’s that.

By the way, this was a very useful trailer. I was actually contemplating whether I want to play Cuphead.  I’m getting the impression that the answer to that would be Not if I value the good opinion of everyone close to me…

EA finally feasts upon Visceral Games’ entrails, casts husk aside.

I am paraphrasing.

EA has announced today they will be closing down their Visceral Games studio, the creators of the Dead Space series, Battlefield Hardline, and several licensed titles ranging from James Bond to The Godfather. The studio was currently in development on an untitled Star Wars video game with Amy Hennig (Uncharted series) directing the title. As a result of the studio shuttering, however, the game will be retooled by a different development team moving forward.

Illuminati Secret World Legends pin? IT MUST BE MINE.

So I’m putting up a link here to remind me of that, when I actually have money to buy one.

The Illuminati one looks pretty sweet, honestly. And blue is my favorite color,  which is one reason I went Illuminati in the first place when I signed up for The Secret World. …Dag, I’ve been playing this game for three years now? And tomorrow is the start of the Halloween event. Fun times.

I suppose that I should drop Elder Scrolls Online.

I haven’t played Elder Scrolls Online in over a year, and I am absolutely dreading the idea of all the downloading that would come with updating it.  It took half a day just to start the game in the first place, because there was wave after wave after wave of multi-gig updates.  It’s a lovely looking game, but it’s just too damned big to download online effectively.
