Book of the Week: Werewolf Cop (HINT HINT, @andrewklavan).

This one is kind of speculative. I haven’t read Werewolf Cop yet, because somehow I didn’t get an review copy.  …OK, to be fair, I’m not that big a dude in this scene for that.  But surely Glenn Reynolds is, so Andrew Klavan should send over a copy to him at least.  See? This is me being helpful.  Anyway, I figure I’ll pick up an e-copy when the Amazon kitty refreshes next week, so I’ll let you know then how it reads.

And adieu, Tour de Lovecraft: The Tales.  Good run.

#rsrh Andrew Klavan: The Birds, the Bees, and the Free Market.

Regretfully, little lessons like this seem to be necessary.

I know, I know: this sort of thing shouldn’t have to be taught by outsiders… but apparently you can’t expect the parents to teach this stuff to their own kids these days, and if we expect them to grow up to be anything like responsible adults, there’s kind of an obligation to make sure of that.  There’s far too much ignorance and just plain bad information out there on the subject already, and it won’t get better on its own…

Klavan: Why are conservatives so mean?

and he proceeds to explain. In admirably frank detail, and with a cheerful lack of concern about showing any respect toward those people that, in Klavan’s clear opinion, have not really earned it. Personally, I think that Pajamas TV may be shooting itself in the foot by not making this stuff embeddable, but nobody asked me, now did they?
