The “Dragon Age: Inquisition: Trespasser” trailer.

Here we go.

Interesting that the Inquisitor is apparently ‘officially’ female.  Which only makes sense, of course, but it’s still interesting that Bioware decided to be public about it. And it’s gonna be the last one for this game, too.  Surprise, surprise.

Rumor has it the DLC drops Tuesday.  Guess we’ll see…

I’m starting to think that there’s going to be no DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition.

Normally by now there’d be at least a hint of it, surely. I suspect that Bioware would rather do multiplayer expansions, which admittedly would make the people who like to do multiplayer happy. I’m just not one of those people.

Ach, well. Still a great game. Once you accept the limitations of the tactical camera.

Just finished Dragon Age Inquisition.

Just over 100 hours; did all the main stuff, the romance, the inner circle quests.  Didn’t get every single item, and will play it again with a proper game history (I managed to set the history to default).

Pros: Dragon Age Inquisition was a lot of fun and I will be playing it again. Based on past experiences, Bioware games on default are completely different from ones where you have a history, so there’ll be a bunch of new content, even before whatever DLC comes out.  The map problem from Dragon Age 2 was fixed.  The ending issue that some people had with Mass Effect 3 was not duplicated. The characters were a lot of fun to interact with.  The game really made me feel like I was out there building an actual Inquisition.  I had a good time.

Cons: they really need to get that patch out that fixes various combat/keyboard issues, and even with the driver workaround my game crashed often than I liked.  Other than that, not much of a problem. Continue reading Just finished Dragon Age Inquisition.

I’m gonna formally say it: Dragon Age Inquisition is a great game.

It is eating my goram life and sleep patterns, but it’s a great goram game.

There are some keyboard issues that will have to be patched, and I had to update to a beta version of AMD Catalyst to end the CTDs, but this is a hell of a good mix between combat and resource management, and the worldbuilding is excellent. Gonna need the strategy guide for this one though, methinks…
