Fright Reads this Saturday!

Fright Reads is Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th, in Millersville, MD. I will be selling my books both days, and part of a panel on Saturday (I’ll be talking a little on crowdfunding). Come on by! Or, if you’re not in Maryland: buy my books now! TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Vol 2: LIGHTS IN THE DAKNESS has just come out, after all.

I will also happily sign any of my books that were previously purchased. It’ll be cool!

My panel at Fright Reads 2024!

They just announced the panels at Fright Reads 2024. I am part of the 1 PM Authors 101 w/ Q&A panel, which should be a lot of fun. The other two folks are going to be talking about marketing/sales, and stuff for aspiring authors, respectively, while I’ll be discussing crowdfunding. I’m looking forward to hearing what tips and strategies the other panelists have to offer.

Fright Reads is September 28 and 29. My new anthology TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Vol 2: LIGHTS IN THE DARKNESS will be available for sale! Or preorder the e-book now.

Gonna record for a podcast (Todd Talks) Sunday! (I am available for other podcasts.)

It’s called Todd Talks. I know the guy from Fright Reads, and he’s just starting it up, so I get to get in at the ground floor, as it were. I should note that we’re supposed to be recording Sunday, so I don’t know yet when it’s going to be actually on. But you know me: I’m always happy to natter on for fifteen, twenty minutes about my books.

PS: Again, I am available for other podcasts.

Looks like Fright Reads needs to find a new venue (I’m still selling books there).

The previous venue apparently had a panic attack over there being a spooky / horror / fantasy book fair at their site. The good news is that Fright Reads have a couple of options and a bunch of months to find sites in the area, so I can still have a book selling situation that’s within easy commuting range of me for once. Still, fair warning to folks running their own events: this is, like, the third time a Maryland hotel’s gotten squirrelly over a horror convention this season. You may want to check with your own venue, just to make sure nothing’s wrong.

PS: If you can’t wait until then, buy my books today! Amazon at least likes money. God only knows why Maryland hotels don’t, right now…
