I had to stop at 0:43 because my kids are in school right now. My God. Oh, my God, Honest Trailers didn’t even get past the opening before they started bringing the thunder.
I’d say this was really, really helpful when it came to letting me decide whether or not to pay to see RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON, except that I already had made that call. It did validate my decision to wait, though. Although I might have still gone to see it in theaters if we still had those where I am.
Disney has a been known to show me first trailers which were far worse than the actual movies. TANGLED comes to mind. So I’m not worried. Yet.
Still, there better be more Con Baby With Monkeys in RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON. Just saying.
I get a Star Wars vibe off of RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON. A good vibe. It looks like a Southeast Asian / Indian subcontinent fantasy vehicle, with stick fighting and traps and acrobatic martial arts and yeah, Disney has piqued my interest. I do think that I am, as they say, ‘down’ for some of that.
