Tweet of the Day, I Admit That I Don’t Know Why Syfy Didn’t Do This Before, Either edition.

That they ask that question of themselves is why I’m putting it up. I have to respect at least a small amount of self-awareness in this regard. Because it’s a legitimate question.

Kevin Bacon’s Tremors series not picked up by Syfy.

Well, that’s a shame.  I don’t know why Syfy decided not to pick up the Tremors series, after all.  Although I suppose that the correct answer might simply also be the obvious one: Syfy just sucks at making good science fiction-related decisions.  We can’t safely dismiss that possibility.  It could be what happened.

The ’12 Monkeys’ SyFy television series trailer.

Which is odd, because I respected the original 12 Monkeys enough that normally I’d be upset that they were going to go and do the exact opposite from the original while using the same name*.  Possibly it’s because I respected 12 Monkeys without liking it very much: it’s a good flick, but not a happy one.

Eh. The TV show could still very well suck.
