The Watcher of Yathagggu

OK, this guy doing “Endangered” had me at “Tremors.”

I am not ashamed to admit it: I enjoyed the Hell out of Tremors. So this Kickstarter project about trying to make a SF/horror movie called Endangered hit all the right notes for me:

Lovecraft themes, no buckets of blood, independently made by enthusiastic people on a shoestring – what’s not to love?

It’s easily my favorite quasi-Steampunk Lovecraftian webcomic, and I’ve always thought that once a week was not enough. Now all we have to do is convince author Robyn Seale to get a PayPal button and an Amazon Associates store and maybe she’ll make enough off of the site to encourage her to go to three times a week…

I’m a little surprised at myself that I haven’t mentioned this webcomic before: after all, The Watcher of Yathagggu is Cthulhu Mythos/steampunk* (and quite unsettling), and everybody knows how I feel about those two different genres. This one’s also sorta-kinda post-apocalypse, in that special Mythos way. All in all, it very favorably compares with Lovecraft is Missing, which is finally updating again, by the way.
