Hey, who wants to hear Debbie Wasserman Schultz do the rhetorical equivalent of stepping on a Bouncing Betty? Well, we all do, of course. The video below is theoretically 3 minutes, 26 seconds long – but you’ll have to stop it at least twice so that you can recover from your laughing fit.
I need the transcript to this. It’s practically a moral imperative.
Anyway, I don’t know Doug McIntyre, don’t know his politics, don’t really know his media market. But what I do know is that he will be avoided by the DNC in the future, if only because any Democratic staffer who gets within fifty feet of him will probably now spontaneously burst into flames.

[UPDATE] We now have a transcript! A taste, via The Washington Free Beacon:
MCINTYRE: The mayor of Los Angeles [Antonio Villaraigosa] was hit with the largest ethics violations in the 200 year history of the city, three of his campaign bundlers are doing the perp walk, and if it wasn’t for millionaires and billionaires, there wouldn’t have been a shovel stuck in the ground in Los Angeles in the last five years. He makes backroom deals with big billionaire developers, while pretending to care about the 99 percent—please, we know the man’s record, we’ve lived with it.
DWS: Well, okay, Doug, is there something else you’d like to talk about? Because I think we’ve probably exhausted this part of the conversation.
Not sure if this is the whole thing…but here’s at least a partial transcript. http://freebeacon.com/l-a-radio-host-slams-dws-for-villaraigosa-dnc-pick/
LA bankrupt next year? That’s the first time I’ve heard that. If true it could be a Very Big Deal.
Debbie really haven’t got a clue on the performance of Tony Villar (seriously, he shouldn’t even be allow to use his ex-wife’s name). Doug is right, he’s hoping to be appointed to the next level of office to get off this sinking ship of the City of Los Angeles.
FWIW, your comment about not knowing McIntyre’s politics made me want to Google him. He voted for GWB, but later apologized, calling him the worst two-term president in history, and has publicly stated that he voted for Obama in 2008.
Seems like sort of a thinking independent, with some strong progressive leanings.
Anyway, I’m sure he and Wasserman-Schultz agree more often than they disagree, which makes these beatdown all the more potent.
doug M is multi- talented guy and well know in SoCal for late night and morning talk radio. independent thinker who has lived in LA and followed California politics since 80’s. Any un-prepared or bias’ed pol left or right should think twice before auto – piloting talking points on his show. Would pay to hear Axelrod or Plouffe or other Obama lemmings bat second against Doug…..
McIntyre is an independent who voted for Bush and then Obama. This is good stuff.
