Ah, mimosas. How you comfort me.

‘Course, I’m mixing the champagne with Minute Maid’s specially-formatted OJ for kids, because, well, I’m a parent and that’s how it works.  Still, it lets my wife have a dry champagne for once.

What’s your anesthesia of choice for this evening?

  1. Moe, pick up some freaking oranges! And just so you know, I am backing the bluster up with action. Got some luksusowa and fresh sqeezed- next will be a salty dog with the rare, decent grapefruit, from Texas of course. 🙂

  2. Catnip-infused popcorn, and a good night’s sleep.

    1. lame 🙂 but I probably only have that over you, most would call my New Year’s lame too.

      1. Two drinks and bed for me. :/ I expect 2013 to require frequent medicinal applications of alcohol, and that bottle needs to last, ‘cuz God knows when I’ll be able to get more…

        1. heck load up. I expect pretty much any hard good to gain value as the dollar does quite the opposite.

          1. Well, considering my lack of dollars, I must all ready be ahead of the game, right? 😉

  3. Bourbon Milk Punch:
    1.5 oz of bourbon
2 teaspoons of simple syrup (adjustable)
    2 dashes of vanilla extract
    4 oz Milk/Heavy Cream
Shake With (a lot of) Ice
    Pour
    Top with grated Nutmeg
    Enjoy.

    1. heh you saw that on Ace right? I have a bit o bourbon, plan to try it in the next few days.

  4. Sparkling Moscato, if I stay awake long enough and feel up to it. Fighting off cold/mild flu/something.

If I decide against that, there’s eggnog. Might be nice with some bourbon too…

  5. My current favorite mixed drink:

Equal parts each of: vodka, Kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and Godiva Chocolate Liquor. Pour over ice, consume until sufficiently intoxiated.

  6. My beverage of choice was my house wine — Root 1 Carmenere. If it ain’t broke…
