‘Tomorrowland’ gets more and more surreal with every trailer.

This international one (for the Japanese market) apparently suggests that the filmmakers blew up Disneyland.

Or maybe that’s Paris.  The EPCOT Dome sure ain’t never going to be the same, that’s for sure.  I’m sorry, this shouldn’t fascinate me so. It’s just that I have no really good way to process this movie.

  2. I have a pretty high tolerance for strange. That’s pretty strange, and the trailers keep getting weirder.

  3. I kinda liked how this looked up until now. But the phrase “you are the chosen one” is a major red flag as far as I’m concerned.

    It’s passing odd how much of a messiah complex Hollywood has sometimes.

    1. The last trailers didn’t mention the chosen one, but they did say they were looking for the “right” people, or at least “the best and the brightest” or something very close.
