1. Boy, that was a heck of a lot darker than I remembered.

   1. It was exactly as dark as I remembered, but then again I listened to that album a *lot* in the early 1990s. Hadn’t seen the video before, though.

      Then again, when it comes to ‘dark’, you’re talking to someone that has both Dust In The Wind and Don’t Fear The Reaper in his top 5 songs of all time. Plus, there are darker Meat Loaf songs– try listening to The Future Ain’t What It Used To Be sometime.

2. Jim Steinman back when this song was new called it the best song he had ever written.
