Huh. I think that my landline died.

First the cordless was giving out the ‘Line in use’ message and no dial tone, and now the cordless is telling me that there’s no power to the base even though it’s plugged in and taking a charge. Wait, now it’s saying ‘Line in use’ again.  I need to go find a spare phone to plug in…

PS: Yes, by all means: helpful suggestions helpful. I’ve already tried unplugging the base and plugging it back in again.  I’m also looking to see whether the problem is that the phone needs to be charged up a bit. This is annoying, not a crisis.

I need some opinions on these two phones.

Basically, it’s like this: I was one of those people who went and bought a Kindle Fire phone. And I actually like it! I don’t call anybody on it, but then who actually does that? It integrates well with my Amazon experience and that’s cool. However, it’s not supported and I’m gonna need to get a new phone soon.

Thoughts on either one of these? I don’t really speak Mobile Phone, sorry. They’re apparently both decent low-end phones: all I really need for mine is the ability to read books, check email, and read Twitter. And, sure, calling people.  And, no, I’m not going to join the Cult of Jobs on this one.  Far too expensive.
