I’ve long thought that the ultimate aim of Lileks’ site on the old buildings of Minneapolis was a virtual reality tour of the city as it used to be before the urban renewal types got hold of it in the early 1960s. Give him another decade or two of faster, brawnier Macs running 3D rendering software and he’ll have it; you wait and see.
