You saw the chocolate article, too, eh?
I think it should be forever ensconced in econ. texts as an example of economic illiteracy. Suffice it to say that, when people are willing to pay $5+ for a strawberry covered in something, we will never run out of that thing.
I guess even journalists have off days where they produce BS. I just wish it didn’t always make it to print.
