Guess that Obama doesn’t want to get all mussed up, or anything.
The White House on Monday distanced President Obama from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s comments that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney hasn’t paid taxes in a decade.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said on Monday that Reid (D-Nev.) “speaks for himself” and had spoken on the issue without any guidance from Team Obama.
It must really suck, having to support a candidate who won’t fight without taking a poll first. A pure tragedy, in fact.
Pure.

PS: Make me stop laughing at them.
You might even say “MAKE MY DAY.”
When I hear “hasn’t paid taxes in a decade”, I thinks to myself, “Self, which decade?” I’m pretty certain Mitt didn’t pay taxes from 1947 to 1956, or even 1950-1959, so that statement is true as far as things go.
A well-placed source has told me that Harry Reid enjoys carnal relations with goats. He enjoys it so much, the source tells me, that he has not had intercourse with his wife in ten years. This is substantiated by the fact that she has not become pregnant during that time.
If this allegation is untrue, there’s a simple way for Harry Reid to refute it: Senator Reid can make public a video of himself having sex with his wife. It’s simple, it’s straightforward, it would clear the air. America wants to know! The fact that he refuses to do it seems to indicate that the rumor is true, doesn’t it?.
(And for the sarcasm-impaired: There are some private things that outsiders should have no right to demand. One example is ten years of tax returns that almost certainly contain information regarding the finances of third parties. Another is videos of Harry and Landra Gould Reid doin’ the nasty.)
