See if you can figure out what is missing from Obama’s statement on the Libya embassy attacks.
I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified America’s commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took their lives.
I have directed my Administration to provide all necessary resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe. While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.
On a personal note, Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution, he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi. As Ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya’s transition to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my Administration, and deeply saddened by this loss.
The brave Americans we lost represent the extraordinary service and sacrifices that our civilians make every day around the globe. As we stand united with their families, let us now redouble our own efforts to carry their work forward.
That’s right: any indication that we’re going to do anything to punish the attackers; or the elements of the various societies that harbor them; or, indeed, much of anything at all. I don’t need the President to tell me that we feel bad about Americans being targeted and murdered. I do need him to tell me how he plans to make sure that nobody sane ever, ever, EVER thinks to do it again. That’s Barack Obama’s job; and right now, he’s flunking it.

Clearly it’s Mitt Romney’s fault for condemning the feckless administration. Or something.
Obama feels he can’t retaliate in either Libya or Egypt because he was the one who allowed those regimes to be overthrown by the current radicals.
It makes him look like he made a mistake, and Obama can never admit to that.
Leading from behind!
Deep in his liberal heart, Obama thinks America is to blame. Further, he sympathizes with the oppressed people who committed these misunderstood acts. The president strongly condemns such acts prior to an election and has directed the media to focus on what is important, and that is Mitt Romney’s tax returns.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard that the FBI is out investigating somebody for “hate” over this.
It does close the final point of difference between him and Carter…
“While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others…” Like Catholics?
Strongly worded letter …and that’s it. That is President Obama all right.
Separated at Birth: The U.S. Embassy in Cairo (and the Libya consulate) and…?
“..when the only weapon you have is a strongly worded letter..”, Gator?
I wonder, if he manages to steal a win, just where Obama intends to place blame for the next iteration of “Let’s exterminate Israel”… That’s the endgame for the muslim bros, after all…

Kowalski – Question for those who may know… Does this obvious incompetent hand-wringing and refusal to talk to Netenyahu weaken support amonf Jewish Americans?
