I dislike his politics, but he is a decorated WWII combat veteran: specifically, a bomber pilot, which was not exactly a job for the timid. My prayers and good wishes for his family and loved ones.

on that point, I “read” (listened to) the unabridged audio book for The Wild Blue (by Stephen Ambrose). It really reminds you what a war hero he was before he went super lefty.
