Higher cost, higher deductible, and the policy holder just got a massive hit to his/her prescription drug costs.
Not to mention that the hospital coinsurance and ED payments went up by 50% (much higher for the hospital, because the deductible went up so much, and that 30% coinsurance is _after_ the deductible).

People on these kinds of plans are going to need an insurance plan to cover their insurance plan. If they need any inpatient care at all, they’re going to hammer into their OOP maximum in a single bound. Fun!
