Because mine starts going back tomorrow. And he will be in school for half an hour longer.
Same here.
Even better, it looks like I won’t be homeschooling the autistic one this year! (I’ve done it for the last 3.) We finally found a way to get her a public education where she won’t be shoved in a corner and ignored!

Of course, this means I’ll be scraping and painting the house and finishing the basement with my suddenly “free” time. But being able to do something and actually see progress (in the case of the mentioned child) that isn’t undone in a matter of hours (in the case of housework)?
That’s going to do good things for my psyche.
