‘Sweet Transvestite’ (And how IS Tim Curry doing these days, anyway?).

OK, I’m putting this up for two reasons.  One, it’s a fun song.  Which is enough.

Second: Tim Curry had a stroke in either 2012 or 2013, and I haven’t heard a word about him or how he’s been doing since. That’s maybe a little odd? …I think. I mean, I don’t want to intrude or anything.

  1. his website says he’s still at home recovering but made a couple of appearances about a year ago. must have been a bad one. best wishes to him.

  2. Guy in his late 60s has a stroke, haven’t heard from him since? I think that’s pretty much your answer right there as to how he’s doing.

    His wiki page has this quote from his agent: “He absolutely can speak…” True or not, that’s not really a good sign when it’s even an issue for discussion.

    So, but Kirk Douglas is still alive, so maybe there’s hope.

  3. ‘s a fun movie. Pretty much defines the “so bad it’s good: musical” category, and the message (“keep an eye on your subordinates!”) is reasonable, if not terribly original.
