PS: Sorry, quick background: Bob Costas got upset that they gave Caitlyn (formerly known as Bruce*) Jenner an award for being brave? Something like that – and John sarcastically commented on it. But Nobody Can Detect Sarcasm On The Internet.
*He – and he said that people can call him he, so there’s that answered – wants to call himself ‘Caitlyn,’ sh*t, it’s not like Jenner owes me money or something.
“But Nobody Can Detect Sarcasm On The Internet.”
Hence the /s and sarc that people put on comments.
