Not the happiest day we’ve had around here, although at least it was mostly just grim. Not the sort of day one associates with happy thoughts about the fate and nature of humanity. So, let’s go find some unambiguously good news. Good news in general. Open thread, in other words.

Life Guard stands disappeared from a beach in Delaware. Seven of them. Four were recovered.

At 500 pounds per stand I suspect alcohol may have been involved. And the cheers of young girls. But mostly both of those.
