Well, it kind of scans. Anyway, as my wife put it: behold the Mighty Maryland Manatee.
A manatee was seen in Saint George Creek near St. George Island in St. Mary’s County.
The National Aquarium said this occurrence isn’t odd. Manatees travel up the East Coast from Florida in the warm summer months. The Chesapeake Bay has plenty of sea grasses that manatees eat.
Manatees are, of course, an animal of some interest to myself. Which is pretty much why my wife sent me this. I can’t explain the bad Beatles filk, though.
