I can see what the guy means by ‘too awesome,’ even if he didn’t quite mean it the way that I heard it:
Yes @zev04 @therickwilson RT @UCCowboy: New Spectre trailer. Looks too awesome. http://t.co/y4RZuzdd9q

That trailer is promising a hell of a lot. You could make a trilogy out of the stuff in there. Will it deliver? ….Mayyybe. We don’t know yet.

PS: Notice, by the way, that they keep the damn iconic James Bond music, and never you mind how old it is. I’M LOOKING AT YOU, SUPERMAN FRANCHISE.
The Aston Martin is nice BUT I WANT THE JAGUAR! 🙂 I am *so* going to enjoy this movie, and it’s basically a grand birthday present to boot!
As an aside, there’s another spy movie coming out next month.
I bring it up, simply because the commercial promoting it is an epic fail. It successfully sells the movie, but I’ve seen the darned commercial a half dozen times, and have no idea what the title of the movie is.
Poll of the commenters:
Which James Bond title song do you think is the best one?
My pick is “Goldfinger.”
Goldfinger it is, with “You Know My Name” from the 2006 Casino Royale coming in at a close second.
View to a Kill.
I’ll take “From Russia With Love” just to be different. But Goldfinger is iconic.
Agreed on Goldfinger, but I always thought “The World is not Enough” was underrated. Mainly because the movie was terrible.
WatchMojo has it as only #9, but I like For Your Eyes Only:

They’ve got Goldfinger as #1.
He makes such a good Bond.
Agreed. Bond is suave and debonair, but definitely not someone to screw with. The killer is always just beneath the veneer as the Fleming novels had him.
Beyond Fleming’s own service, I think Fairbairn may have had some influence.
