OK, I am forced to admit something: I never actually saw X-Men: Days of Future Past. Apparently I’ll need to, if I plan to see this.
Did Days of Future Past suck? I liked X-Men: First Class, if that helps.

Unfortunately I can’t think of much to say about Days of Future Past that wouldn’t be a spoiler. I guess I can say that it has the new cast from First Class and the old cast from the first three movies and the Sentinels all in it.
NO it didn’t suck! The bit with Quicksilver makes the whole movie worth watching even if you don’t like the rest of the movie.
The movie was very good. I’d say almost as good as X2 or First Class.
I liked both, frankly. Give it a try, I hear it’s on Amazon. 🙂

Just to concur, if you liked First Class, you’ll probably enjoy DoFP as well as it’s got the best parts of that cast, plus Wolverine.
If you liked 1st Class, you’ll like Future Past.
No. It most decidedly did not suck. In fact, at this point, I’m happier with the X-Men universe than I am where the larger MCU is heading.
I didn’t like the first 3 X-Men until I saw 1st Class. Since I didn’t read the comic books, I wasn’t able to catch onto the story lines. After 1st Class, I went back and re-watched the others and enjoyed them much more. I also really liked Future Past.
It definitely did not suck, although the middle dragged a little for me…got a bit somber (though that’s unavoidable, if you are familiar with the DoFP storyline from the comics). I’d rate it on the high side of 3 stars (out of 4). Good popcorn movie.

For the record, the bit with Quicksilver was my LEAST favorite bit in the whole movie, although general audiences (see Catseyes above) seemed to love it.
I loved both FC and DoFP but I must admit DoFP confused the hell out of me, timeline-wise. I decided not to worry about it – eagerly awaiting Apocalypse.
