    2. I’d say that was inevitable. The moment he figured out he’s most likely not going to have enough delegates for the first vote and that meant he would NOT get the nomination, it was time for the “dirty tricks and insults” claims. Can’t accept a legit loss now can he? Time to bully and bluster and toss around threats of a third party run hoping for something. He may still do it too, but he’ll probably need to start spending his own cash to have the disruptive impact. He’d also need to get organized to get on the ballot in enough states as a third party. Not saying he can’t or won’t ruin the Republican campaign, but it will be far less destructive than having him on the ticket.
