I was able to go to a concert tonight because the Belarusian band Stary Olsa put together a Kickstarter that not only paid for a new album; it allowed them to tour in the USA this summer and fall. The world gets smaller every year – and thank God for that, huh?
Mind you, Belarus is a totalitarian hot mess, so progress is, as they say, uneven.
