J. Geils – of, obviously, the J. Geils Band – was 71. Interesting fact: Centerfold was the first rock song I learned all the words to. My condolences, prayers, and good wishes to his family and loved ones.

My Childhood! It’s….melting!
That (Centerfold) was the first (or maybe second) song I ever learned how to play on the guitar (the other one was Take It Easy by the Eagles.)
In retrospect, probably not the best set of songs for a class at a community rec center that was open to ten-year-olds.
