Not supernatural, as near as I can tell, but quite obviously a thriller:
I think that it intrigues me partially because it’s a Victorian period piece that doesn’t feature Jack the Ripper. I like a good Ripper movie as much as anybody else, but it’s nice to expand one’s focus a little. Also: I am reasonably certain that Karl Marx is not actually going to turn out to be the serial killer here, but I approve of making him a viable suspect. That guy got a lot of people killed, after all.
The Limehouse Golem comes out September 8th, but it’s probably not going to have a very extensive run.
