When Steve Perry lived in Los Angeles, he always go to Dodgers Stadium to watch his team Giants when they come to town. They always use this song (which he co-wrote) as a rally song in the 8th inns. Since he only goes to the game when the Giants are playing, he really wish they don’t use it.
My wife declared it better than the original. I wouldn’t go that far, but it is excellent.
I don’t know if it’s better, but I like it because it’s so *happy* to be there and doing this.
