Kind of fascinated with game 4 of the Nats-Cardinals pennant right now.

I’m kind of torn, too. If the Nats win the pennant then DC is going to go insane for the World Series. Even more insane than usual. Traffic’s going to be crazy, people are going to be crazy, and God help us all if the Nationals win the series.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind seeing a World Series close by again. Well. ‘See’ is a strong term. Tickets are apparently starting at over a grand a pop right now for a hypothetical World Series home game, and those are the ones where you don’t actually get a chair.

  2. I’d like to see a Nats/Astros series, mostly because I’ve already seen one of those games a couple of years ago, 2 days before the hurricane hit Houston.

    Not sure who to root for, though. I once worked within walking distance of Nationals Park – and attended a couple of games there; but my grandkids *love* Houston, so…it would make it easier if the Yankees won the pennant.

    That said, Trump wearing a Yankees cap to a World Series game against the Nats…

    In other news, the Halloween event for Apex Legends is farking nuts. Crazy intense as a survivor, chasing them as a fastzombie/werewolf “shadow” is maniacal giggling fun.
