As a point of contrast, consider their some “I Need Some of That” which in part describes the longing for an appreciation of the place one grows up.
Of course, one should hesitate to read too much into the songs any band writes and performs. Maybe it is autobiographical, maybe it was just an idea, maybe it just caught the passing mood of one afternoon.
Or maybe it’s something the record company man brought ‘em… that happens too.
