My ultimately misinformed (if not particularly incorrect) reaction to TEEN WOLF: THE MOVIE.

Come, I will conceal nothing from you: when I saw this, I rolled my eyes. Yea, verily: another dark and gritty reboot of a silly franchise. But I read up on the TEEN WOLF movie, and discovered that it’s a dark and gritty movie that’s tied to the dark and gritty TV series (which was the actual reboot) that I somehow missed coming out, all these years ago. Which does maybe change things a little, right? After all, that show was on for six seasons. Clearly people liked it. They have as much right to be pandered to as I do.

Then I actually watched the trailer.

…Yeah, the point on pandering stands, but I think I’ll be skipping this one.

  1. I could not make heads or tails out of that trailer. There is so much assumed backstory knowledge in it that it was inaccessible to me.
