Had to drive into DC to do it, which is never fun. On the other hand, The Drunk Shakespeare Society starts out your evening by giving you a shot of booze before you get your ninety minutes of bawdy Shakespearean action*, which is nice. It’s a great performance, if you happen to be in a city that does it.
*Mostly involving saucy language and suggestive commentary. And they do in fact make one actor slam shots of booze prior to the performance, in what must be a very calibrated manner.
