Mostly involving tuning up the Substack, taking the kids out to get Mother’s Day presents, and actually going somewhere where I could have a beer for once. Although it wasn’t really a beer. It was a beer cocktail that was just astringent enough to keep me from burning my mouth off on the wings, which started with a subtle kick to them and then worked their way up to hot.
