Disappointing because SLOTHERHOUSE has a PG-13 rating merely for ‘Violence, Bloody Images, and Language.’
This is a movie about a killer SLOTH in a SORORITY HOUSE. Say what you like about 1980s schlock movie culture, but by GOD those directors understood what to do with a concept like that. That’s right: top-nudity and softcore lesbian teasing from the start. If you don’t want to make that movie, then why would you hog the concept?

PS: Of course you would put as much of it as you can in the trailer. But the rating spells it out. No nudity, no sexual situations. …I blame myself, really. We have failed to teach the younger generations properly.
Part of the horror genre was the transgressive nature of the nudity. I could see more nudes in 5 seconds now [to my shame] than 80s horror audiences ever dreamed of. Oppenheimer wallowed in it and no one batted an eye other than arguing it was superfluous. Nudes now accomplish nothing out of the “ordinary.”
I now lean towards the Moralist faction that holds “Civilization did greater things the harder boobs were to access.”
