I offer a link to the Silmarillion here in the hope that, the next time somebody tries to actually do the Second Age of Middle-Earth, they take the time to go and get the rights to the correct goram book. I could tolerate many things of that show. Not understanding what the names mean is just a bridge too bloody far.

We tried to convince you not to give them clicks. (Shrug) They proudly announced that they did not understand or value the source material, and that they intended to piss all over it.
I feel some happiness on the behalf of the WH40K fandom that the series is dying in preproduction. (Not to mention, a bit of envy.)
I cannot share your pain to lessen it, as I have never been fool enough to watch the show.
I am mildly curious about the details of this camel breaking straw, though.
This is Liene’s Library’s ‘review’ of season 2, episode 8. Her entire series of ‘review’ is Let’s Laugh at RINGS OF POWER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HQ-7utsDUw
Ah, there’s the explanation, in a completely different post.
I think it would be best if these people had the least possible access to Tolkien’s work. We have already seen what horrors they are capable of with just a few pages of Tolkien. Imagine what these people would do with the story of Luthien and Beren! Consider the awful prospect of what they would do with Gondolin! I have reached the point of opposing any further adaptations. Hollywood has proven itself unworthy.
