What is bacon steak? It is bacon. In steak form.
It tasted exactly as good as it looks, with a wonderful smoked-sweet glaze, and so rich I could barely finish half of it. This is a four-person appetizer. Maybe six. One person should not eat all of it at a setting.
The question is, what do I do with the rest? I suggested putting it in soup, and the very thought horrified my wife. But I have to do something with it today, or else freeze it and hope I can come up with an idea. Thoughts?
Wrap it around something? Maybe shrimp.
Pork and beans would be pretty good with that bacon. The brown sugar sauce would be epic with it.
Now I’ve got to see if the local butcher has any pork belly.
Bank karma in heaven.
Feed it to a dog.
That’s called “Heart disease on a plate”. Not something you would want to eat every decade. But, if I had such a thing before me, I would eat it without remorse.
There are a few things you could do with that. You could cut it up into small pieces and mix it with scrambled eggs. You could cut it up into small pieces and put it in a salad. You could cut it up into small pieces and mix it with hamburger for some delicious bacon steakburgers.
Cutting it into small pieces is your best bet. It will make it manageable, shareable, and versatile.
No, no, no.
You eat the bacon steak, one bite at a time, with a side veggie, a fresh bread, a salad if you like.

I have no opposition to this course.
