To do so the producer, director, and cast must all understand that there are black and white things in the world, it isn’t all shades of gray. In Hollywood today I’d describe that possibility as….unlikely.
Concur.
James Cameron or George Lucas – outsiders tapping into the zeitgeist – can only happen… outside of the Hollywood echo chambers.
That said… with media fragmentation and the internet … and with pretty good AI-aided special effects…. it’s not clear how possible a “blockbuster” like Terminator or Star Wars is anymore.
