  1. Take some Ibuprofen and then rub Bengay (or other analgesic heat rub) on your back, then go to bed.

    If you are still having pain in the morning, go to the doctor.

  2. That sucks. Even minor back injuries linger.

    I second BigGator5. Also actual hot packs.
    It might be helpful to use gravity for traction in short stints of a couple of minutes in length. Hanging off the edge of the bed can sometimes help quite a lot.

  3. Fellas, you seem to be forgetting that this may actually be disc disruption, in which case…ow.

    Speaking as one who had the pain and the surgeries…
