I… find that I am in agreement with Luke’s last comment, there. It is time. Far past time. The Last Jedi is also probably not going to be a clone of The Empire Strikes Back, which is nice.

Yeah, it’s not like the Jedi as an organization acquitted themselves well… ever? I can’t think of period when they were actually competent. Individual Jedi, yes, but as a whole? Dumb as a bag of hammers.
