The very promising ‘7 Days in Entebbe’ trailer.

‘Very promising’ because 7 Days in Entebbe looks like they’re not going to be playing around with the narrative. Here are the bad guys (the terrorists); there are the good guys (Mossad). When the two intersect, the bad guys go away.  Which is just what we all want to see.

Some people might quibble that Wilfried Bose is somewhat humanized in this portrayal.  I am actually in favor of humanizing terrorists in movies like this, as long as they still, you know, die in the end.  It’s OK to kill flat-out villains who retain murder in their hearts, you see. In fact, it’s kind of a civic duty.

7 Days in Entebbe comes out in March 2018.

  1. You know that the Usual Suspects will be shrieking about “Zionism” when this gets released, right? Not that their opinion matters. Just pointing that out.

  2. I’m curious whether Bibi Netanyahu (or an actor portraying him) will make a cameo during the film.
