Tweet of the Day, OK, Sure, A Walkie-Talkie Mode For The Apple Watch Would Be Cool edition.

Fair’s fair.

This is the sort of thing that I’d want on a super-tech future-watch.  And, honestly, the major reason why I haven’t gotten a watch like this — Apple or otherwise — is because I’m not real good with watches. As in, I’ve had them literally* explode off my list.

  2. I’ve never been a big fan of wearing a watch. Too hard to get the fit right, sweating underneath, etc.

    I’m also not a huge fan of paying $500 for a device that has a screen the size of a postage stamp, but maybe that’s just me? And the walkie-talkie thing? Honestly, how is that better than using my cell phone?
