And it’s just as glorious a looming disaster as anyone could hope to think.
What if your phone had a robotic finger? https://t.co/7KZgTCrmkc pic.twitter.com/typcF8zhGm

Watch it move! Watch it molest its user! Watch it touch its user in the wrong place at the wrong time, causing an involuntary reaction as the horrible mech-scorpion gets thrown against the nearest wall! Watch the disturbing prosthesis try to hypnotize you like a snake! Watch the user molest it! Watch it move around on its own! Watch it watch you with blue glowing eyes!
And then watch them cover it with a fake cat tail, which is why this thing is gonna sell a million units, easy. Because then you can pet the digital cat and watch the tail move, and aw. Skynet clearly missed a bet, here: all it had to do was give everybody a phone with a bunch of cat gifs to look at, on the way to the human processing plants, and humanity would have been wiped out like that.
Words fail me.
At some point, I think we have to admit that these people know exactly what they’re doing.
.. don’t we have to know *what* they’re doing to admit that?

The Calling it a “Looming Disaster” implies to me its creator’s ignorance of the details Moe proceeds to list off.

I tend to think those are not bugs, they are features.
