Epic’s got the remastered GHOSTBUSTERS on $5 mega-sale.

Kind of. I think that what happens is, you pick up Grand Theft Auto V for free (for the next couple of days), and that gets you a $10 off ticket for their Mega sale ticket items. Then you go get the remastered Ghostbusters game, which is already on sale for $15, and then you end up paying $5. OK, OK: $4.99. Still, not a bad deal.

PS: I am absolutely NOT playing GTA in front of my kids. Or possibly at all. But they’ll go to college eventually.

  1. I picked up Ghostbusters on Steam quite a while back. As I explained on the forum there at one point to someone asking if it was worth the (discounted) investment – “Would you spend a few bucks to spend time with Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and the late Harold Ramis? Because that’s essentially what you’re doing when you buy this game.”

  2. Itsy bitsy quibble… they may also go to trade school.

Some people prefer the trades to the college track, and society needs both.

Otherwise, yeah, not a game for the kids.

p.s. – pro tip: if you and Mrs Lane have strong stomachs, you can max out the squick in an inappropriate (bad influence, I mean) date through a game of Cards Against Humanity….
