PS: As I noted on Twitter, these movies resemble nothing so much as grounded, somber art-house reflections on the demands that responsibilities and obligations put on regular people… if the writer was Ventrue, and the director Toreador. And now I really want to see an official Vampire: The Masquerade movie. I mean, this will do, but I want the genuine article.

They’re getting my money, that’s a given. Can’t agree with the title though, and hope it is only a placeholder/announcement thing. If only because it’s the same title as the first film which will cause havoc with search engines. (and conventional wisdom or tradition holds that if two movies have the same title, the second must be either 1) a reboot/remake or 2) a completely different genre; again to avoid confusion) Closest analogy is the First Blood films I guess which drive some to apoplexy with their titling/numbering and then dropped it all to call an installment John Rambo.
