A long life and reign, and both were memorable. My condolences to her family and nation.

This is one of those things you have to expect to happen, but never *really* expect to happen

Peace to those who loved her.

Good riddance.

I guess I’m in the middle. I don’t feel any particular sadness about England losing their queen, but she was a mom and a grandmother, and all the titles in the world aren’t going to soften the blow of having to say goodbye to a beloved member of the family. I do sympathize with the family.

She had a demonstrable positive impact on the world and people are mad at her because England bad or something. One doesn’t have to favor monarchy as a form of government to be able to express empathy for someone.
