What is bacon steak? It is bacon. In steak form.
It tasted exactly as good as it looks, with a wonderful smoked-sweet glaze, and so rich I could barely finish half of it. This is a four-person appetizer. Maybe six. One person should not eat all of it at a setting.
The question is, what do I do with the rest? I suggested putting it in soup, and the very thought horrified my wife. But I have to do something with it today, or else freeze it and hope I can come up with an idea. Thoughts?
Wrap it around something? Maybe shrimp.
Pork and beans would be pretty good with that bacon. The brown sugar sauce would be epic with it.
